Parihaka

WELCOME BACK BLOGGERS

Today we were doing work on Parihaka and how the government took over their land in the 1860 by Māori tribes. The Parihaka had no choice but to settle on an agreement about whether they shouldn’t take over the lands. so at school we did crowns* to remember about it. The Parihaka settlement was was famous cause everybody heard about it now and then so we did work about how it was unfair. And that’s mostly all I know about Mãori and the Parihaka tribes.

Marvellous Museum Trip

Kia Ora Bloggers

On Tuesday we went on a trip to museum to learn more about stuff like lots of STUFF. Anyway I liked going there CAUSE my favorite game was definitely Toi Mai, Te Waka which is a really cool game because you have to pull and push the rope which pulls the waka. It’s really fun also MY MOM WAS THERE WITH ME I like her too.

I felt bad for the dinosaur since he had a broken leg. After that we hopped onto the bus and went to school to go home  and that was the end of that!
